The National University «Ostroh Academy» seminar took place on November 26 during which discussed the prospects of the project The Baltic-Black Sea Union.

The speakers at the event were Professor of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, Tomasz Stępniewski, Head of the Center for Political Research and a professor of political science at Ostroh Academy Yurii Matsiievskyi and postgraduate student at the Department of Political Science and National Security of the National University of Ostroh Academy, Serhii Ievtushok.

 «The idea of The Baltic-Black Sea Union is becoming more relevant today due to the escalation of the security situation in Eastern Europe. Especially popular this idea in Ukraine through military aggression of the Russian Federation. Unfortunately, Ukrainian vision of this cooperation is different from our Western colleagues, so it is important to discuss these academic level understanding of the ideas of integration processes in the Baltic-Black Sea region»,  –  commented Serhii Ievtushok.

Speakers also discussed educational initiatives Erasmus + of the Baltic-Black Sea region and prospects for Ukrainian students.
