On October 25 and 26, 2018 lectures were held within the framework of the second stage (or second year) of the implementation of the project of the International Visegrad Fund aimed at implementing the training course «The Comparative Study of Democratization: Transition Politics in V4 countries and Ukraine» for students of the specialty «Political Science» of the Department of Political Science and National Security of the National University of «Ostroh Academy». Jan Charvat gave lectures for students on such topics: The Czech Parliamentary Regime After 1989: Origins, Developments and Challenges, Constitutional making in the Czech Republic and constitutional amendments, Current problems and challenges of the Czech political system.
Guest lecturer:
Jan Charvat is the Professor of the Institute of Political Science of Charles University in Prague (Czech Republic). He has over 10 years of professional teaching experience and participation in project management. He worked as an advisor in the Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Regional Development. During 2014-2016, he implemented the Czech Science Foundation (GA ČR) grant “Sources and forms of subculture politicization in post-socialism (number 14-19324S).
